Quick question...What color does transmission fluid burn?
lol transmission fluid doesn't burn, it doesn't go to the motor. The only way it would burn is if its leaking and it goes to the exhaust.
What are you smoking? Of course it burns...
Here's how we find out. Drive your car for an hour. Pop the hood, touch your transmission. If your hand burns, the transmission fluid will burn.

dont let these guys fool you...transmission fluid can burn BUT not like the way i think you mean. burnt tranny fluid will smell burnt and should be a darker color. the fluid can be burnt be a couple of diffrent things like towing, overloading etc.. all things your probably NOt doing.
if you see smoking and it is not coming from the tailpipe i would inspect your exhaust system. check for residue of oil/coolant etc on the exhaust manifold

x2.. it could be oil dripping from your fuel filter. This will definitely hit the top of the head downpipe which will evaporate due to the heat of the header causing it to smoke or smell
