Fair Price For CRX?
So I found a 1989 CRX Si in my area. The man selling it is in his 60s and has owned the car for 12 years. It is black, and the outside has a few dings and dents but zero rust. The interior is pretty much flawless, the climate control isn't cracked, etc...car has 230K, but runs strong and the clutch feels brand new. New brakes, exhaust, and tires look practically brand new. He is asking $2000, refused to lower the price, but he said he'd take $1900 if I pick it up this weekend. Good deal?
Thanks,
Bob

I just paid 2k for an original owner, 120k miles Si, that unfortunately needs a paint job. (Honda Milano red, sucks, btw). And the heater controls are cracked. So I'd say $1900 is a fair price, for that one.
Trying to find a single owner, 20 year old car, that is virtually unmolested, is a needle in the haystack type proposition these days.

Take a look at Craigslist in Los Angeles and see what 2000 gets you in the way of the CRX. You will be out your door so quick to go give him every penny of what he is asking.
