Default sir cluster swap info, all links are dead

i searched but all the links are to old, got any info/diagrams on this? 89 crx btw

well, i think its a ukdm cluster, as its reads 150mph as the jdm one reads 180.. so info on the ukdm one?

It is mostly just a matter of matching up the color of each wire to the SiR plugs, hopefully your cluster has pigtails with it to match them up with.

The only other things you will need is an electronic vss and a newer style round cluster housing found on 1990-91 models to fit over the cluster properly

well its a uk cluster, its in a friends crx and none of the gauges work, so i need to hook it up the right way

What the hell? Why didn't you say so? They don't even have an SiR in the UK, geez!!

i didnt know what kind of cluster it is, i now realize its a uk cluster
it looks like the usdm except it reads to 150mph

Well,from what I've read on installing my UK VTi 155 mph cable vss 9.5k cluster that the easiest way to install in usdm is by installing the individual gauges into a usdm housing.I do know from plugging it in temp. (not installing until SiR swap in),that the wiring isn't correct just plugging it in,(duhr) Oh,and you'll need a DA teg CABLE VSS if not JDM!(they're electronic) Will prolly post how to when I do mine soon...
