Default Hanging throttle, whats the deal??

Okay so constant problems with this lude, ready to sell the car, it sucks. I have had hanging throttle/rpms ever since i changed my transmission. I fixed the check engine light cause the tps wire got snagged. Then i calibrated the tps and idle according to spec. So spent a week learning and checking for vacuum leaks. And concluded that the problem is between the throttle cable and the throttle body, took the throttle cable off and noticed that the cable was frayed a bit on the part that mostly stays in touch with the throttle cam. So I ordered a new throttle cable and installed it tonight, and took it for a drive felt good, but then i had to get on it cause that's the true test, after about three good pulls, same problem as before occurs again, only when you really get on it , something between the cable or throttle cam/spring/plate, doesn't want to close all the way, and the rpms hang when you let it out of gear or just coast in gear (this is fixed by blipping the throttle). I suspected that maybe its the angle of the cable to the throttle cam, i still have to play with this more, but it for the most part looks straight, and i have a good amount of slack , possibly could add more see if that helps.

The throttle seems to always close shut easy from any position with the cable off, so I guess the throttle body is good?

So how is this getting hung up with a new cable now? I suspect that maybe its the angle of the cable, so i think im getting closer to my answer, just want to get this out there to cover this issue, cause the searches, dont have a lot of scenarios like what im having. ...

well the problem to this was so simple. the throttle plate was just not smooth anymore, thus hanging throttle. replaced it with one that open and closes all the way real smooth...and it should close all the way with the supplied pressure of the spring.

It was probably just dirty and needed a carb cleaner cleaning.
