Shop Manual/Transmission
Hi all! I've been a long time lurker here. Figured I'd join up and get some good advice. I used to just Google my issues, but now so many sites are spammed I never get quite what I'm looking for....
I drive a 2001 Honda Accord EX with 216,000 miles. I do usual maintenance, oil, breaks, rotors, plugs and wires, air filter etc. I recently did the front and rear wheel bearings too. I've got this old Haynes manual, but it really isn't too good. Could anyone recommend a really good repair manual that actually uses schematics and breakdown models? I've never had the transmission fluid changed, and its starting to stick in its gears as it shifts automatically. I figure I better get on this issue now and change it. Of course, I need to plan this procedure out correctly. So what shop manuals are you all using?
Thanks

Helms publishes the factory service manual. this is the one they use at the dealership and it is by far the best. you can still order them new from the website but they are no longer available in original print. there is a warning about possibly being in loose leaf form and missing some sections...
i can say i had trouble finding an original print for sale, but if you keep checking amazon.com and eBay.com eventually one will come up at a good price.
