hey so i picked up the center piece with the climate controls from a friend of mine from a 99 Sir, i went to put it in my DX hatchback project i picked up a few weeks ago, and i only have two out of three plugs to plug into the climate controls, my car doesnt have the bottom wiring harness to plug into the climate control, am i missing something? or do i not need it? any help would be appreciated!

What year is the car you're trying to put it in?

The center dash buttons change in position and electronically on the '99 & '00.

 

sorry i have a 1999 civic hatchback DX, and the dash piece is from a 1999 Sir. i have 2 plugs that plug into the climate controls and then the hazard light. the Sir climate control has 3 places for plugs on the back plus hazard light. the 2 plugs that i have plug into the top two spaces, but there is a third space for a plug. i dont have a motor in the car so i cant just check if it works i was just wondering for now

 

Oh, the third plug will plug into the buttons right across the pond in a sense. The defrost,a/cand such cluster plugs right into the climate control panel. It's the third slot on the bottom. It's literally like a 2 inch long cord, I don't see how youve missed it, unless it was detached from both panels and lost...
