hey will i have a bone stock 98 jdm b16a and the ecu im running is a p28 with a mugen chip
okay right now the problem is it bogs out when i floor it but when im driving most of the time it drives regular my car is running rich and before i use to be able to floor it and it would only lag at certain rpms..such as when i get pass 2500 rpms everything would be fine but now the more i floor it the worse it gets

Try replacing the fuel filter. Maybe fuel pump and lines.

 

any check engine lights? have you checked your ignition timing? have you ever changed the timing belt/water pump if you have you may need to check your cam timing? done any routine maintenance: plugs/wires/cap/rotor/fuel filter? If you can try another ECU.

 

i have a code 10 which is the iat and im using a obd2 manifold i always had that cel on my other cars never had this problem but as far as maintenance ive change the oil spark plug and the head was done at the machine shop the cam timing is on correctly and the ingition timing is advanced all the way

 

could be a clogged cat converter if you still have one.

 

nah i have a test pipe could it be the dizzy? since at first it would only happen somewhere around idle to 2500? once after that i was able to floor it and it would be regular

Its probably your fuel filter. Same thing happened to me. If you take it off and its hard to blow through you should replace it and it will probably take care of the problem.

 

i just changed the fuel filter it did help a little it let me rev up the first two times like right when i started it up though

 

sounds like youre not getting maximum fuel flow. something has to be clogged

 

yeah thanks found out what it was it was the injectors
