What tires?
Just picked up a set of 16x7 Mugen MF10's for my R. Looking for a quality, sticky, summer or all season tire, and trying to keep it around $100/tire. I've searhced Tirerack and just too many choices. What are you guys using on your R's and what do you recommend or suggest I use?
You better have these on by the 15th!
I use yokahoma parade spec 2's. i've heard terrible reviews about them, and also good reviews about them. I've put about 100 miles on mine in the 3 months i've had them and have no complaints so far. If you want the azenis rt615 forget about it, that was my first pick and they are discontinued.
What tire size do you plan on running?

will whats your price range? i think if your looking for affordable and decent tire go with KUMHO ECSTA ($300-400), they are the best for the price range and i never had problems with them at all but if your looking for something in the mid range go with toyo proxes ($400-500). Right now i have the proxes RA1 on my ITR. IF i was to by tires that were over $600, i dont think it would matter cause any tires that are $600 should be good enough

I plan on a 195/50or45-16. 205's came on the wheel and it's too beefy, and there bold which is why I'm replacing.

I just really want something that I can have fun with on the road, sharp turns, ect, and be able to trust the tire to stick, and last.
there's a 100 AMEX gift card offer for bridgestone potenza re-11's right now... and you can even stack a 70 coupon if you get to costco like tomorrow when the coupon expires
search around, there's threads on tires... the new dunlops, etc. GL

Dude, RE-11's all day long. Downright amazing tire, I've already got to do 2 events on them (coming from 615's) and absolutely love them. They're like the R comp that you can drive in the rain
It's hard to believe they are priced as well as they are.
I'm pretty confident in the upcoming months you're going to see many start moving over to them just sheerly due to the rave reviews they are getting across the board.

^good info I totally missed. After a quick search, I couldn't find any info about the extension. Supposedly, the prices went up as the card was offered - pretty much negating any savings. Regardless, GL OP.

Too bad Azenis RT615's are discontinued... Falken is suppose to release its replacement soon. I have a set on my other set of wheels and really like them! Ive also had Yokohama Parada Spec 2's and didnt think they were that bad but i only put a couple thousand miles before i sold the car!
I've been reviewing a few tires on Tire Rack, now let's see what you guys think on these:
-Bridgestone Potenza RE-11
-Yokahama S.drive
-Yokahama Advan A11A
I'm pretty sure I want to go with a 205/45-16. I'm a noob when it comes to tires being I don't have much experience with buying them, any advice/suggestions are welcome.

Ive heard REALLY good things about the S Drives and Advans, not sure about the RE-11's but a couple people posted they liked them too... 205/45 is fine. Im running 215/45 Dunlop Direzza's without any issues!
In a 16" size on an ITR, the 205/45/16 RE-11 is *the* tire to go with. Anything else is subpar right now.
And I'm not sure why the RE-11 hasn't gone back down in price since the rebate has now expired. They were certainly jacked up when the rebate first hit.

That's exactly what I want right now. But after shipping from Tire Rack, mounting and balancing, I'm up at around 1k that I don't have right now. What about the RE-760?
No other Bridgestone is really worth the cash. If economy performance is your goal, then go with the Kumho Ecsta XS or try to find a set of RT-615 Azenis.
The Kumho is a good tire...but its sidewall is a bit softer than the RE-11.

I'm looking for 16's too and from what I've researched, Dunlop Star Specs aren't available.
I'll be DDing summertime so mileage on these RE11s are kind of important (even though work is only <5mi. I was able to do ~10k on the RT615s. Anyone have any experience with the RE11?

I've been using the Kuhmo Ecsta XS for the past year and they've been great. You're 100% right about the sidewall being softer. Unfortunitly I daily drive my R (until I can get another vehicle) so the RE-11's may not be worth it if I'm not going to use them to there fullest potential. I think now I'm torn between the S drives, Parada Spec 2, and the Ecsta's, then before when I was stuck on the RE-11's. Economy performance is basically my goal, although I do want something sticky.
I think the S.drives are decent tires at an affordable price, $90/tire, and I think I'm leaning more towards those then anything else right now. (I'm a broke college kid)!

Don't forget about the $40 rebate when buying a set of 4 Yoko tires.

Dont waste your time those. The RE-11 is worth the price.
If you cant afford those then look at

The other tires you listed are not even in the same catagory.
