Buzzing and rasping noise coming from new exhaust. How to get rid of it
Hi,
I recently had a company build me a 2.5" stainless steel cat back system. This had a straight through centre section and rear back box. When i took the car out for a test drive i noticed a buzzing and rasping noise a certain rpm. Went back the the shop who said to let the exhaust bed in and see what happens. Gave it plenty time but no change so went back for a centre silencer. Although it's a little better, still the horrible noise coming from the car.
Anyone have any ideas how to get rid of this as the shop are keen to help me out but dont see the point in adding a 3rd silencer.
It's on a Civic EG6 with 96spec ITR exhaust manifold and car has a de-cat.
Thanks.
