Default starter problems, anyone know ?

so saturday i went to turn on betsy and i come to find out my starter went out. so yesterday i went out and got a used b series starter, put it on and bam she turned on. the starter was acting fine all day, started right up no problem. this morning i go to warm her up and guess what happens. yep the starter is gone, AGAIN ! is there any reason why 2 starters would go out in 2 days ? im really confused and a little frustrated so if anyone can shed some insight on what they think that would be greatly appreciated ! thanks

Are you sure it's not the ignition switch? Try jumping the signal wire to your positive battery terminal

First step I would try to tap on it see if it turns over if nothing happens then check power to the starter. Since you put a used starter in there the chances are that one is bad also.

also check your ground on your engine i had the same problem i thought the starter was bad but it eventually ended up being a bad ground wire

Make sure you have a GOOD FULLY charged battery before u go out and spend money. It can be ur battery and not ur starter at all.
