Default Best Size Skinnies for Boosted Car?

hey Honda-Tech,

I was just wondering what the best size tire would be for a turbo application vehicle?

I have 15 inch Spinwerks wheels but I am unsure of the size of the tire I should purchase.

Thanks!!

Is it better if I run spinner hub caps? I am looking to shave a couple tenths off my time, I heard they cut through the wind the best!!

Generally, you should try and match the skinnies to the height if your slicks.

24" works best for 24.5" slicks, 26" tall skinnes for 25-26" slicks

Why would the size of the front tire size have anything to do with the rear?

you would want to be as close as you can in matching overall height of the tires front and rear... so you dont have to mess with your suspension to get the car to ride paralell to the ground.....

thats the way i see it but what do i know.

If your car is squirley in the rear I'd suggest a wide tire. If it tracks straight and holds down then I'd go with skinnier tires. Match closely to your fronts so that your suspension is using "the sweet spot". If you're using the upper or lower limit of the shock, you're wrong.
