Drive-By-Wire Pro Series Throttle Body
Skunk2 is proud to introduce the first-ever, CNC-machined, big-bore drive-by-wire throttle body, debuting exclusively for ’06-’10 Honda Civic Si owners late-Spring, 2010, with other applications to follow. yea i didnt see it then and just checked my email and had that info from skunk2. admins feel free to delete. i dont even have an Si anymore but since i didnt see it up top i figured i'd share the info if no one else had.

 

rather just buy the RL throttle body.

Who will be 1st to market, S2 or Hybrid-Racing?

The 09-10 TL SH-AWD TB is 80mm inlet 70mm outlet and with P2R adapter it's plug and play.

how is that too much. port match the intake manifold and the smallest opening in your intake is 70mm. i bet there will be big gains.

 

im talking about the 80mm side. most intakes arent even that size. so u have to either go a full custom intake or get a coupler from pepboys to run it.

 

which would be so worth it to have your only bottle neck be 70mm

 

idk if you know, but the "powerbomb" design doesnt work well with intakes.

 

People who have the set up to run a throttle body like that aren't really using off the shelf intakes now are they going to care if some intake that was made for a car that is relatively stock fits.

As it stands now if you went with Skunk 2 or Hybrid-Racing DBW TB (whenever they debut) you couldn't fit the coupler that came with the intake made for the stock TB anyhow.
