Default Power window off track

91 ex power everything, driverside front window was off its track. I was able to reconnect the two little snaps at the bottom of the track, and fit the glass in its guides on the front and rear of the door.

When i put the window DOWN, its fine, no slipping or moving. When i put the window UP, the REAR of the glass(closest to the back door) slides out of its guide and it have to hold the window back towards the rear door so it will go up straight.

I've checked the window track and its straight, nothing is broken, but the rear of the window goes up faster than the front, causing it to come out of its guide and i have no clue why.

Well it seems the front of the glass (the side near the side view mirror), is going up SLOWER than the rear of the glass (the side near the door handle).

I saw where the screws on the bottom of the glass, and the scissor type mechanism itself. But nothing seems to move around to allow more play.

make sure the metal track is not bent and that the clip that holds the windown track isn't broken...kind of hard to explain but its pretty straight forward...!!!

Oh yea, its easy for sure. Looking at all the moving parts, i dont see the clip that holds the track...There are two pop-type bearings on the track, that connects to the regulator, and there are two bolts that hold the glass to the regulator.

Is there some sort of clip or whatever on the door handle side of the glass?

check and make sure the the two pop type bearings aint coming off the track when you roll up the window...the other two bolts are what hold the glass to the rail and wouldn't cause the window to go up crooked unless the entire frame is bent...!!!

So, if there are only 4 mounting/holding points, then its all good. I need to just replace the regulator...im probably going to replace both passenger, and front door.

Hey 4g4cruisin-
I'm having the exact same problem with my 91' Accord-I'm just wondering if you ever got it figured out and if so could you give me some simplified instructions on what you did? Thanks bro
