B16 has no spark but power to dizzy
K so i got my track car back running. it is a em1 with a b16 i did a wire tuck and a manual power steering box. so when put the motor back in and wire'd it all up it fired right up with now problems. so i took it for a drive and all of a sudden the car just turned off. So i have check the spark and didnt get any so i took of the dizzy cap ( couldnt get the rotor off so i broke it and now im running to get a new one) and i put test light to the two screws inside the dizzy and they both lit up. so i have power to the dizzy what else could it be? thank you guys in advance!
yeah i have a fuel pressure gauge and it primes to 45psi. the ground to the thermostat houseing some where else... does it matter, or does it have to be grounded there?
k so i redone the grounds with no luch then i put a light tester on the ICM and i only get power out of the black/yellow and the yellow and green. i even put a ground directly to the thermostat ground. and nothing. i do not have any cel's. RonJ thank you so much for helping i will check the rest i am going to pick up a ohm meter right now
k so i borrowed my brothers gsr distributor and the bastard started right up with no problems. how do i go about checking if its the coil or the ignighter?
