Default 96 Civic Hatch Power Door Locks Not working

I recently swapped my doors on my 96 DX with a pair of 99 SI doors. The SI doors were complete with everything inside. The power mirrors and windows work, but how come the power locks doesn't? Thanks

Everything is connected with a 96-98 floor harness

You need the door lock control unit from the Si. It's located behind the driver's kick panel in the Si.

I thought the control unit would be inside the driver's door?

Not for a Si with keyless locks. It's behind the driver's kick panel.

Ohh. I don't have access to any 99-00 SI civic. Is it the same if I find the control unit from any 96-00 2dr coupe? Located inside the driver door?

Sorry for the stupid questions, I just got my first Civic/first car few weeks back. If the control unit is under the kick panel in an SI and I am currently using the SI doors, do I have to swap my door harness in order to put the control unit inside my door? Or is there already a plug inside for that?

there will not be a harness from the car that will plug into the unit under the kick panel to enable your power door locks. you have to "diy" and create a relay. i was able to do it and use my stock switch.
