why do i keep smellin burnt clutch?

Default why do i keep smellin burnt clutch?

okay i was just wonderin why i keep smellin burnt cluch is m clutch goin out. also im not ridin the clutch

does it happen when you like drive fast and get the rpms like around 6 or 7? cuz that has been happening to me lately

The higher you go in RPM, the easier it is to tell if it's bad.

This should make it obvious.

I think it should be obvious that there is a problem. Either the clutch springs are worn, the pad is worn, or both..

I wouldn't expect to be able to drive the car much longer before the pad completely goes.

Haha.
Is probably the worst automotive smell you could imagine. When I burned my clutch a bit one time, the smell was so strong that after I got home, I could still smell it where ever I went and it didn't come out until I took a shower. I think it smells the same as burnt brake pads as they should be made of the same material.

at times when i'd hit high rpms, i'd smell a burnt rotisserie smell after i idle afterwards.

and no, no one was BBQing

I think part of the reason why you'd smell the clutch at high RPMs is because hondas have weak clutch springs in order to make city driving more pleasant. If you want performance, you'll need a stiffer clutch.
