you guys really thought this event was good? 4-10 years ago when i was heavy on the scene reppin' eastern motorsports that was a scene..i was at the track for about an hour and a half before i decided i was done feeling like throwing up in my mouth..the game is a joke now, all things considered when the scene was "riced" out it was wayyyyy better..everything from builds that actually took time and effort to the general quality of life..i could have went to uptown manhattan for this bullshit oh and F'in seriously stop with the boots on the cars in the parking lot alot of you would be getting done a favor if someone stole your car..and don't even get me started on the drag race scene..where's papadakis? the solara twins? and people the likes of ed bergenholtz, chris rado?? actually u know what, i don't even blame them or the NHRA for not wanting to come to such a classless place or event. i feel like my coupe lives in a bad school district now and i need to move in order to find her a better zoned school...you know, someplace like the west coast. Shame on you tri-state, shame on you for what you've done to the east coast scene..no wonder the cali boys take us for joke.

 

i dont know if you realize sports compact cars are faster now than they were back in the days. not to disrespect all the legends of the game you mention but you should really look up chris miller, fernando cuhna, and felix medina and the all motor game the tri-state area its on top of the game. the fall nationals last fall and the spring nationals just showed that this sport is coming back to life.

i guess yo uhave been under a rock for the last 2 years. this is one of the first events of the year, people are shaking off the dust. car counts were a little low, and if thats how you feel about the "scene" (i frikin hate that term) thats your opinion and you are entitled to it.

but as far as how those cali boys think about us tri state guys, look at this. speaks for itself where the "scene" is.

were you even near the track for the fall nats the past 2 years? seen world cup? if thats how you feel, fine. but last year was hands down the best racing i have seen, and was a part of. i do hope '10 follows 09.

 

dude i'm not so much taking shots at the drag part of things as i was the show part of things..i'm sorry i failed to post in the show section of this website but i failed to find any threads regarding that on HT..as far as the drag section goes i def saw a few well built all motor cars pulling low 10's which was very very impressive, i guess i was just disappointed to not see any imports blasting 6's like i did when i took a break from things after the shop i used to work for closed down.
