i've been outta the honda scene for a while now ever since i sold my itr.. now i'm hopefully going to come back.. not my own vehicle but my brothers.. i'm prolly gonna build myself another hybrid in 2 yrs or so after i slang the truck i drive now.. but for now i can get to drive his EK once in a while and work on it as well.
He showed interest in an h22 swap which i'm not the biggest fan of but whatever floats his boat i'm willing to help him.. i've seen many eg, ek's w/this and thell all run great.. looking too see how much complete motors sell for.. and a reputable place to get them from in socal..

they specialize in that swap...they can do the swap for $4000 from what i remember...for everything
or you can buy the swap from them and the parts needed and do it yourself
i do all my own work, but i think i would go with the $4000 installed deal, thats pretty good if you ask me

i'm actually looking for a complete motor only, i already have an installer lined up. I'm sure the engine mount kit will cost extra along with a jumper that may be needed. (I'm not sure on that one) But as long as i can locate a clean motor that isnt a lemon i'll be very happy. Does anyone know whats the avilability of a type S motor?
dont get a type s motor, waste of money. the price difference is like $2000...you could easily get 20 hp and more out of the JDM H22 with that $2k
http://www.hondamotorsonline.com also good place to get motors

typeS motor isn't worth the extra money IMO. the extra pesos you'd pay for it, you can put towards mods for a regular JDM H22 and end up being faster.
what's up with his celica btw? is it getting fixed yet?
Hi I can supply you with the mount kit and harness adapter as well. Let me know if you are interested.
I can also supply you with a motor too. I wouldn't recommend a type-s engine but a Euro-R engine is worth it!
