Default Question about OEM badges

ok, so i'm sure most of us have broken an emblem or knocked one off, etc.

While waxing my integra, i knocked off the front emblem, also everyone knows there is 2 holes behind the emblem. Also if you have knocked one off you know it sucks to glue the emblem back on- because the 2 prongs or whatever is on the emblem breaks off.

My question is, does the oem emblems have 2 studs or prongs that clip into the two small holes- or is there just two studs to keep the emblem aligned?
I have tried to replace the emblems- because gluing sucks, but when i try to find OEM replacment emblems, they have double sided tape and i'm pretty sure the originals did not.
So.... can you get the REAL oem emblems still or do you have to get the replacement OEM emblem (in a honda parts bag) that has the double sided tape?

It sucks but then those Stupid things aint cheap from the dealer either. What I did was I jacked my buddies H emblem off his 93 Civic Coupe which has the two studs behind it and used electrical tape to tape around each one individually to make them thicker. Once I did that I just aligned up the two studs to the wholes and pushed it in. Havent had an issue with it at all and its easy to pull back out. Again this is for the front one only.

Just use 3M emblem tape. There's nothing wrong with it, and it will come off relatively easily in the future. When I had emblems I cut narrow strips of 3M emblem tape (very thin gray foam tape, not that thick white stuff) to hold the emblems on and it worked fine for several years. Usually the tape will just rub off if you have to remove it, or at worst you might have to use a little Goo Gone to remove the residue.

There should be little plastic clips that fit in the holes on the bumper that help hold the emblem in place. I never trusted those by themselves, though, so I used the emblem tape in addition.
