I was thinking about putting one of these head gaskets because I had some head gasket issues with my car and I was thinking about o-ring the block, but I was looking at website about that gasket, and it says it has combustion seals that take the place of O-rings in the block. www.scegaskets.com .

 

What kind of head gasket issues are you having ? A stock gasket should be just fine, seems like something else could be giving you issues.

 

Head lifting issues and I was going to put a new head gasket and also send the block to get it O-ringed. But a friend of mine told me about those head gasket. Putting that head gasket would be a lot easier than taking the whole motor apart to get it o-ringed.

 

It shouldnt matter what type of gasket is in there, you must have problems elsewhere. A majority of guys making moderate to high amounts of power are using stock headgaskets with no problems. Are you using headstuds? Is your block sleeved? Any other issues?
