Am I missing a front mount somewhere, You can feel the motor move quite abit getting on and off the gas and out of first or reverse.
98 civic si(canada)

I know on my 93 civic si with d16z6 i have two mounts i dont have on this one is on the passanger side on the tranny and the other is the drivers side off the powersteering, i can see theres a spot for one on the frame but not sure if its needed for the b18 swap.
any suggestions are those mounts good enough if i put polyurathane inserts in? or should i save and get the hassport mount kit

You're missing the torque mounts, not a huge deal. I also would be willing to bet your stock mounts are shot. The driver side mount on your style car is junk, it was poor design from honda.

If I were you, I would buy some aftermarket mounts like Avid or Hasport or something like that. You need a B series trans side torque mount, and a CRV/B20 motor side torque mount.

Thanks for letting me know. So I'll be alright with the torque mount, If anyone has suggestions for stock mounts or polyuranthe mounts or just save and get hassports mounts let me know..
just got it yesterday going to put new valvecover gasket, camseal, sparkplug wires, possibly turbo it in the next few months. Im a dsm guy and have lots of spare parts around including a pte 5031 and a bseries manifold.

It could use a serious cleaning. I would go over that engine bay top to bottom and front to back before I did any performance mods. Just get some Avid mounts they're cheaper than the Hasports, I have them in my EJ8 and they're great.

That kit there would be what i need?

Yep as soon as i fix the valve cover leak i'll be cleaning it up real good, Going to be my daily driver but I'v seen them take 10 psi stock make some pretty good power so thats looking like an option in the next 6 months for sure.

Yea that would work just fine, thats exactly what I have on my car. 10psi would be fine. I would also change timing belt, tensioner, and water pump as it looks like the previous owner didn't take very good care of the car.

Thanks for all the help
The previous owner was an idiot. He had a b16a2 in this car and the timing belt snapped on him, he ended up trading the b16a2 for this motor and also paid the guy 250 to put it in, the guy in less the a week had the b16a2 in his integra and running great, Im guessing possibly there was no valve damage but I dont know for sure.
This has 150,000km not sure what it is in miles, and the belt was supposidly dont a couple months ago. I'll be checking all this out and replacing if not.
My last honda well reall honda was a 1995 integra gsr so i'd love to in the future build an lsvtec or toss a b16a2 or b18c1 in but cash aint flowing and i got the parts so turbo looks pretty good right now.

Clean that engine bay, lol....car need some love

As mentioned, both the bracket and bolt are missing from the front drivers side of the engine. Going aftermarket mounts is a good idea. I wouldn't waste $300 on the Avid mounts you posted in that link earlier. Heck, i paid less than that for my Innovative mounts, and they are a better brand.

Also, since you don't have p/s in there anymore, may as well take out the reservoir.

Why do you have a VTEC decal when you don't have VTEC? Haha, I understand it's off topic but it's intriguing. You might get ragged on for that, I'd watch who you show that off to.

You know what. Scratch that. I completely missed your cars description and thought it to be a base model. Wow, brain fart on my part.

Yep, needs a serious cleaning. That thing is filthy. I would also pick up a top Radiator holder bracket and it looks as if your Engine to Core support ground wire is broken.

Should look really nice once cleaned up. Good luck with the new mounts and everything.
