Camping at VIR-North for NASA Oct 12/13 event...
can this be confirmed?
I definitely plan on camping. That's my "policy", due to the antique Winnebago I tow with. I much prefer camping at the track.
I missed the camaraderie of camping in the paddock at LMS... Camping across from the track just wasn't the same.
I was surfing around at http://www.virclub.com/pages/eventInfo02/svra2002.htm today and camping for the following week's vintage races is $10/night for tents and $25/night for other vehicles... That's worse than the Fleetwood RV park across from LMS... Ouch!

can this be confirmed?not sure about at the track... but the mass e-mail I got from yahoo groups mentioned a campground nearby...
Since for all bot CMS, camping at the track has been available, I assume it is this time as well, but wanted to check prior to showing up with all the camping gear.

Yes there will be camping at the track. I haven't seen the supps yet, but I believe the charges will be the same as usual.
The track will be open for late Friday night arrivals as well.
I hope this looks more like one of our usual events/
More on this later.

Sign me up for camping! This time, I will be sleeping in the Suburban if it storms as crazy f*cking bad as it did last year at this event
