I am assuming there will be camping as usual for the Oct 12/13 weekend at VIR-North... can this be confirmed?

not sure about at the track... but the mass e-mail I got from yahoo groups mentioned a campground nearby...

 

I definitely plan on camping. That's my "policy", due to the antique Winnebago I tow with. I much prefer camping at the track.
I missed the camaraderie of camping in the paddock at LMS... Camping across from the track just wasn't the same.
I was surfing around at http://www.virclub.com/pages/eventInfo02/svra2002.htm today and camping for the following week's vintage races is $10/night for tents and $25/night for other vehicles... That's worse than the Fleetwood RV park across from LMS... Ouch!

 

If it's not at the track, I'm not interested... I'll just stay at home. Since for all bot CMS, camping at the track has been available, I assume it is this time as well, but wanted to check prior to showing up with all the camping gear.

 

Yes there will be camping at the track. I haven't seen the supps yet, but I believe the charges will be the same as usual.

The track will be open for late Friday night arrivals as well.

I hope this looks more like one of our usual events/
