so my boy wants to sell me his d2 coilovers that he has on his eg
i have a ek coupe fresh on ebay coilovers but want to upgrade will there be any problems with this setup

anyways, yes they fit right on. only exception is the rear, the eg forks are a bit wider then the 96-00 lca, so you will either need to use a spacer or washers to make up the differnce.

 

no its fresh i did the mistake of trading my skunk2 one pieces for this garbage ahah i was ina bind so 400 on top sounded really good

are u almost posotive beacuse i dont feel like doing to many modifications 2 it washers sound pretty easy how many washers u talking ?

 

Yes, i am 100%, my friend and i installed eg shocks on his.

also if the front top hats are oem there are 4 little things that stick off that will need to be takin off, its very simpler.

I wouldnt waste my time with d2, however, in your case i would, ebays blow big time.

D2's run around 900 new, so if they are in good shape go for it.

 

yeah, they can fit but the lcs from a dc2 and eg are slightly longer than an EK... the front should work fine, but the back will not you will have to uses washer or something similar to compensate,

 

Doesnt matter, The shock bushing is wider on eg.
and you got it backwards, ek is longer then eg.
