F22 from a prelude, how hard to swap?
Ok a guy I know is selling an F22 motor with everything except for the wiring harness for 700 canadian, its 40-50 pounds lighter than the H series motor I believe and just want to know if this swap would be worth it? It doesnt burn oil and here are the specs:
Type: Aluminum-Alloy In-Line 4
Displacement (cc) 2156
Horsepower@rpm (SAE net, MT/AT) 135@5200
Torque (lb.ft. @ rpm) 142@4000
Compression Ratio 8.8:1 (hmm.. turbo?)
Valve Train: SOHC 16-Valve
125,000 KM
5 speed tranny with good newer clutch (so I was told by the previous owner, she had no recipts but it works good)
Comes with:
distributor in great condition
intake and exhaust manifolds with downpipe
throttle body
axles to use for cores
ECU
all sensors
starter
alternator
A/C compressor (if needed)
side mounts (I'm using the front and rear ones )
*no wiring harness* because I used it for my H22A

yeah H and F series motors share same mounts, so if you can find a H series mount kit for the civic/crx chassis then you'll be all good. also later you could swap in a H series motor, and even use F series tranny, even though H series tranny would be much better
