My car speed up fine up to the 4th gear and it seems to bog down but engine does not turn off. The tach meter does not go up and is sorta of bog down when I press the pedal more. As I let go of the gas pedal, the tach meter goes back up and the car accelerates better.
What could be causing this problem?
Other than that the car runs fine and it's accelerate smoothly in the city streets but when I try to speed up up fast on the freeway, it bogs down when hitting about 50mph until I let go of the gas pedal and then it speed up again.

I have a 1990 Accord LX. 140000 miles on it with great maintenance. I am the 2nd owner and previous owner takes care of the car with regular fluid changes.

 

Possibly fuel issue, not enough fuel into engine. Filter, injectors, then pump. Check in that order.

 

Any other possibilities? Perhaps not enough air?
I changed the fuel filter less than 10000 miles ago. How can you test to see if which injector is the issue? If it's the injector, wouldn't it occurs also when accelerating from the 1st gear? I can hear the pump starts when the key turn on.
