So far the "plan" is my k20 stock block with my gt3076r. Chase bays harness and everything cleanly done. I have to go to work for 2 weeks so I get to plan out what I can do. I am getting alot of people that say I should take a c5 and put it back in. I personally think that the best chassis should get the best motor.

IMO the k20 is far better then the c5.

This one has a clean title and has never been in an accident and has all original paint. Located in Anchorage Alaska

Why would you put a c5 in it? It's just not fast enough for me. Plus either way the number wont match cause they already got rid of the original c5. So lets make the type r better then the original with a k20 cleanly done.

I'm just curious as to why such a nice, clean Type-R shell has no motor...i'm assuming the other one was stolen or went out? Anyways, definitely keep us updated. Can't wait to see the final product. A build thread would be much appreciated.

The K puts out about 100 more hp on stock block and head compared to the R. I'm assuming that the max on the R is 450whp from what I have had experience with. My friends k20 with boost on stock block and head makes 550+. Between the 2 platforms, if his goal is power for boost then k20 all the way.

Im curious to see how your build turns out. Cant wait for more pics on the story on heR.
