Default throttle position sensor problem....

own a poormans type r 95 jdm b16 head(stock)/ 94 gsr block(stock)

bought a new throttle body, and replaced the old sensors...

i know the tps measures .5V at closed/ 4.5V-5V at full throttle which we did do/done
reset the ecu (virgin p72)

now CEL comes on for tps

no sputter or bogging though....

Default Re: throttle position sensor problem....

maybe a part of the potentiometer in the actual tps is slightly worn enough to throw the code but not enough to feel it?

try barely giving it throttle throughout the rpm range and see if you can feel anything.
