wassup guys as you can see im a noob here.. wanted to do my first swap and wanted to go with the dully zc but there's like 3..http://www.jdmenginedepot.com/search_results.php i wanted to with the first one but it say 92-95..i still wanted to use my cable trans for it..and do i have to do the mpfi? cant i just get a si harness make life easier? help me out guys thanks

 

youre choosing the newest one its OBD1 came in EG bodies in japan but can also be swapped in EFs you will needa convert to mpfi and no i dont reccomend getting another harness you have to work with your stock harness and modify it...
and yes any D series L3 cable tranny will work

lol the question is why the other one if youre not planning on swapping it on an eg?
why go thru the hassle of obd1 and extra wiring and have the 3rd gen ZC when everybody else has the 2nd gen ZC that was made to fit and work on EFs plug and play or so to say...
not like it has more power vtec or less miles...

tkae your time and lok at all your options before swapping... and make sure youre getting the right setup...

 

yeah..this is what i know for the swap..mpfi first..i can use the same tranny..use the same mounts..(money saver ) only new things i have to get is a 88-89 teggy ecu and teggy axles correct?

 

i'd rather run it with a pm6 ECU and the axels depend on the tranny and on the hubs you got(trip of your car)

 

iam be using the same tranny i have now

 

well depending on your tranny youll know if you can use your same axles(if theyre good)
if not get Si axles
