Hello, I just got my car last weekend, and I noticed that this bar under the radiator seems bent. I'm not sure if it really is bent or if it's just like this, but here's a video of it. Also, my coolant reservoir tank leaks when I add more coolant to it. It just falls out basically.

its bent, some shop monkey tryied to use a flow jack on it to jack up the car....you can jack the car from the subframe, not the rad suport.....pretty easy to straiten if you pull the bumper and bumper suport....you might want to pick up some bumper clips before hand cuz they alway brake....clubrsx has them cheap.......have fun

 

Thanks mustclime. All the VINs are intact also, so it hasn't been in an accident. If I get a new support, I will have to weld it back on right?

Just like musty said should be pretty easy... and get the clips trust me!!!

 

The metal is not that stiff, a little tapping with a BFH will straiten it right out....I did it before for a kid with a ep3. Might want to stick a coat of paint over it to avoid rust.

 

Not even 20 minutes after buying an em1 my buddy did that to his gf's em2. I had remembered reading about people doing it and as soon as I came in the garage I yelled at him to stop.
