Default Bugs are bad here! Anyone using a bug screen to keep radiator clean?

The bugs are awful here in Savannah, Ga. They're just going to get worst as the weather warms up. Soon those damn f**k bugs (Love bugs) will be all over the damn place and they'll be all over the bumper / radiator.

I'm just wondering if any of you guys use a bug screen under the bumper to protect the radiator?

curious....

Think about this for a moment.....you want to deflect air from going through your radiator to keep bugs out......
Bugs clog screen.....screen doesn't allow air....air deflected.

Air is what cools the coolant and radiator...you need the air there. LoL.

I'm talking about the mesh material that has really small holes which would still allow all the air in Do you think the air would actually go elsewhere? It's going to get to the c/a/i, radiator reguardless.

When I took delivery of my '90 Civic Si 14 years ago, one of the first things I did was install a piece of charcoal gray fiberglass screen material behind the grill openings. Never caused a problem with air flow, and the radiator was nice and clean. The screen also helped deflect some those nasty things like rocks that always look for you on the freeway. Now, if only there was somthing to protect the windshield.
