2 different amps with 2 subs????
hey everyone, I am stuck i dont know how to wire up my system with 2 completely different amps one Rockford 900wt and one Lanzar 600wtt. I believe the rockford is 2channel and the lanzar is one channel. The subs i have are 12" MA audio 800wtt each. I just need to know i can wire up the 2 amps to combine power for 1500watt output to power the 2 subs. can some tell me or show me a write up on how to accomplish this thank you...
not possible, dont bother doing it, sell both and get the 1500 watt amp you want. you cannot combine amps unless its linked, or running one amp to each sub.. which in ur case still would not work.
ha thats funny, i know its an innocent question but i laughed.. the only time you can strap two amps together is if they are the same model, and have a master/slave option. you will see with larger amps, usually 1000-15000w class d mono's they will offer a link module or a dip switch with a master/slave option so that you can combine the power of the two ALIKE amps. but if your idea was possible that would be kinda neat.
