Grant SW problem
Can someone tell me how to correctly install a Grant steering wheel and still get the horn to work properly? I followed all the directions on that sh*tty install sheet that came with the kit, but the horn is constantly grounded. Since I needed to drive the car, and I didn't feel like having the horn constantly on, I just left the horn disconnected. Unfortunately I am surround by complete f*cking morons
here in SoCali, and driving without a horn is a serious life risk. Please help.

I wish I could tell you why it is, but best I can tell it's just the way the Grant is designed. I followed their instructions perfectly, even had it checked by two other people. I thought it was due to the metal bracket contacting the metal wheel so I tried using a rubber buffer, but the screws made that pointless. I'm ready to just rip off the Grant and put the old, seriously deteriorated stock wheel back on.
I had the same problem as you, all i did was flip the ring around and just moved it around, it works most of the time but sometimes it doesnt honk at all... im about to rip it out too and get a MOMO... i never had problems with the old momo i had until it was stolen...
