I was wondering what i can do to brighten up my insturment cluster. It has a dull amber color to it, but i want it a little bit brighter.
How can i accomplish this??

-Cluster Brightness:

For your gauge cluster (Which I am assuming is a stock-ish unit), you will need approximately 5 "194" type bulbs, and approximately 13 "74" type bulbs. They sell high output designs that should significantly brighten your gauge cluster. ALSO, if you're interested, you can replace your dome light with a "3022" type.

So...
"194 Type" x ~5
"74 type" x ~13

Yellow Headlights:
MOST people just buy a replacement high beam bulb that has a yellow tint to it. OTHERS remove and bake the headlight, remove the lens, and paint the high beam port with yellow "stained-glass" paint. Unless you have a HID kit, buying a HID bulb would be pointless. If you don't know if you have a HID kit, take some time to read around and search to educate yourself a little more before making modifications to such an integral part of your vehicle.

A word at a personal level: The "yellow high beams" on 88-91 Civics is a take on (I assume) the center oriented foglights on 90-93 Integras. It is neither "JDM" nor is it "cool". (Notice that JDM and cool are not synonymous) It will provide lesser quality of light for use with actual driving. I would not recommend it. BUT, if you like the LOOK of yellow high beams, then by all means, proceed and I will wish you luck.
