my driver side cv joint moves up and down by the half shaft also it moves in and out(towards ans away from wheel from wheel) is my cv joint broke or is it just loose also could my half shaft be broke. i checked it cause i heard a knocking sound while moving that got more constant the faster i went.

 

did it work ok before? ...if so.....sounds like you probably need a new one
