stole this picture from weak!dc's build thread because it gives me the shot i need since i have all the panels in my car again. These two locations on both sides of the rear panel of the car continue to drip water no matter what i do, ive already run seam sealer up and down these seams but water continues to drip in and around new locations on these seams. I know most of you have always wondered where the water comes from, ive found 3 locations in the back. Amongst other odd ball leaks as well.
I also highlighted in purple one of the other leaks as well along yet, another seam. But what to do about this rear panel? Is this thing gona need to but cut out and replaced and or rewelded? Has anyone done this before?

okay, i am guessing you have water in the trunk under the rear tire and that your rear seat is getting soaked majically like mine was and that you have a sunroof too. i ordered the new sunroof seal and weather stripping from acura but the rear was a tail light lens issue. the sunroof would leak and water would sit on top of the head liner. as i would turn, the water would run down the sides inside the plastic interior panels and get soaked by the seat cushion in the rear seat pad. there are drain tubes in there that crack sometimes like mine did. i got those from the plumbing department at lowes. its just clear tubing. i forgot the size but its about 5/16 inch inner diameter. i replaced all mine. issue solved. for the sunroof leak.
now the rear light lenses, i removed them. i also cleaned them up and sealed them around all the bolt holes that hold them on. i used basic caulking for bathroom tubs. i also sealed up the gap between the body and light housings. see those pics in my albums because i dont know how to up load them on here. they will be up in like 5 minutes or less. hope this helps. i didnt have RTV at the moment i was all into this so i used the cheap crap but it worked LOL

it was hit in the back ever so slightly, i see no obvious damage to anything on those corners, that crappy gray stuff is factory seam sealer, and remember thats n ot my car i took the pic from, at any rate, my car also has the seam sealer on there too, and that should work, but somehow its finding its way around it still.
