Default e-brake light

hey my ebrake light wont turn off. I have tried changing out the switch and the light is still on. What do you think is wrong? Thanks for your help.

have you checked your brake fluid? the light will come on if it gets too low.

Maybe something with the handle, the light comes on when it see ground,thats all I got hope its help.

It may be the sensor in the reservoir lid.

I believe the reservoir is full, but I will check and get back with you. I think the master cylinder is going out too, I guess that maybe part of it too.

OK it maybe full but if the sensor is bad then it will not know its full.

check the fluid its the only time the light turns on, and if your positive that the switch to the ebrake cable is good then make sure once more. Could be rusted or the sensor at the reservoir tank is faulty
