any check engine lights? did this just occur or have you recently swapped and won't start? When it won't start does it not have spark? fuel?

Test for spark... Test for fuel... If you have both, then i'd check over wires/ecu

if he didnt have spark nor fuel the car wouldnt stay on. im guessing you dont have one of your sensors/wires hooked up properly and the car does not have enough time to throw a CEL so your working blind. just check over all your sensors and wires and doit by the manual for that motor/car/harness specific.

does the check engine light stay on? if so you need to check the code. Also make sure you have all your engine grounds connected.

ok so i think i finally fixed it .it runs perfect now .it might have been the ground wires cuz i sanded down all the contact points so they could have a good connection. and i also filled up the gas tank half ways to make sure it was getting enough gas cuz it had enough to turn on but maybe not enough to stay on. but either way it starts and stays on and runs perfect now so im happy! so thanks for your help guys.......

I had that problem too. Grounding is everthing. If it keeps up (crossing fingers that it doesn't) take a look at your main relay. My civic had that problem awhile back. Swapped the relay and had no problems since.
