ok so i have a b16a2 swapped into my 96hx hatch and i cant find the male plug that attaches to the end of 2nd o2 censor that gets bolted onto the cat. can anybody tell me what harness the 2nd o2 censor plugs into. plz thank you.

 

as far as I know, the 2nd O2 sensor on a b16a2 goes under the car, through the bottom and onto the ECU. Not sure if it is a separate harness or not.

 

mmm... wull i know theres a way to ghetto rig it so that your wire it straight to the ECU but im trying to do it the legit way.

 

a 96 hx comes with a single cam in it so their for theirs only 1 o2 and its goes in the top half of the exhaust manifold, and dual cams come with one and it bolts to the end at the collecter near the flange where it bolts to the cat

 

wull i have a full 99-00 si wire swap in my hatch. and from what i under stand is that theres one o2 censor where u say it is (2nd peace on the headers) and theres one on the catalytic converter. im not sure but im pretty sure i need both for admissions and rif. right? correct me if im wrong plz.

 

i have the same on my hatch but i only pluged up the one at the end of the manifold and no cel's nor issues on emissions

(96-98civic) obd2a has only one o2 sensor.....(99-00civic)obd2b has two o2 sensors

you will be fine with one

 

im going to take it to the referee so i can get it the swap stamped and legal. u think hes gona bust my ***** for not having 2nd o2 censor?

 

what state you live in??
your car is a 96, try to find a pr3 ecu from a USDM del sol, and a 96 or 97 ls stock header with a single o2 sensor plug

 

i live in california and they are azz holes out here so yeah.

I am working on ej8 swaping a 2000 si b16a2 but I am not sure this will pass the reff.
but i will try to bardcode it =P

 

i have a B20B and a gsr trans and ive been able to catch up with haul'n *** trans ams so i guess i enjoy it, but im building it B20Vtec and im working on my supra to run 9's and drive it on the daily
