Default What exhaust?? quite first performance second??

I have a 98 EK hatchback with a GSR motor. It will be supercharged with a jrsc in a few months. I already have the SC it's just not on yet. I want to get an exhaust setup for it but I want something that is going to be as quiet as possible (not stock). I do want to be able to gain some performance from it but would sacrifice a few hp for a less ricey sounding exhaust.

Any thoughts??

you will be whored with apexi WS2. so apexi WS2. never heard one in person but it seems good on youtube and it is much loved. runs bout 650-700.

or custom make one. HF cat, resonator, and whatever muffler. anywhere from like 450-600, welding not included if you can't do it yourself.

Apexi WS2, except I got mine for about $400 shipped, brand new. There are several sellers in hondamarketplace in that price range.

Great sounding exhaust, great quality, great price.

If you plan to run a JRSC get a 2.5" Kamikaze header, and 2.5" piping all the way back (no bottle-necking) and a 2.5" vibrant street muffler. Basically no exhaust system sold as one unit is going to work well for you (that means no Apexi, no Magnaflow, no brand at all really, custom is what you need) as they run 2.25" -2.36". I have yet to find one that is 2.5" all the way.

The user "Veris" is probably the authority on JRSC in this forum. Here's his website, it should be of great help to you.

Look into the Tanabe Super Hyper Medalion, the oval one. I have one with 2.5 piping and its very quiet, and not raspy at all, damn good for having no resonators. Have a pic of it on the last page of my build thread, once I fix my exhaust leak at the collector by putting in a s2000 donut gasket I'm making a video of it to post up.
