I have a 04 honda Accord LX V6 summer is coming when i turn on my a/c i just feel hot air before the heat came it threw cold air for a while and then threw hot air can it be that my a/c needs to be re-charge or can there be a leak in the system i touch lower presure line and it was warm wasn't cold like it should be when its running compresure looks like its working. So what can it be?

 

freon probably needs to be capped off....take it to honda..they'll capped it off and check the pressure in the lines

 

on accords i have done a lot of a/c work. everything from the common hole in the condenser, the semi common reciever dryer coming apart (replacing dryer, condenser and expansion valve and flushing lines) to the rarer a/c compresser lock up and coming apart and doing compressor, clutch, coil, expansion valve, condenser and dryer.

i need pressure numbers to help you any further and amount of charge pulled out.

 

are you sure the compressor is kicking on? i recently worked on an '05 V6 where the compressor simply won't come on. the owner's original complaint was the same as yours and i changed compressors, but it still won't come on. i'm looking for wiring diagrams as we speak.
