Default APEX'i WS catback rubbing rear sway!!??

Recently I've encountered a problem w/ my after market exhaust piping and my aftermarket rear sway. I have the Apex'i World Sport catback exhaust system and a Skunk2 rear sway bar (21mm). I do not know the exact diameter of the width for the exhaust piping. My piping seems to be rubbing against the sway on the right rear side of the car ... right to the left of the rear right wheel. The piping seems to not clear the sway ... resulting in a nasty metal on metal sound whenever I make a left turn. What are some things i can do to fix this??? I do not want to spend a lot of money on fixing this ... any simple remedies? I've though of adjusting the hangers to pull the exhaust up higher ... yet its already pulled quite high. Also ive came up with the idea of wrapping some high resistance header wrap over the piping so it wouldn't be as loud when it rubs. Any suggestions or knowledge of this subject???
Thanks.

Is your car lowered w/ adjustable coilovers? if so, raise the car higher. That is what I had to do to mine.

take it to a muffler shop and have them cut the hangers and raise the exhaust a bit...or if you can find a shorter rubber hanger that would work

Not to insult your intelligence, but maybe the swaybar is upside down?

If you even mount the stock one upside down, it will rub.

I had a Apex Dunk (mother of exhausts) on my car with a ITR swaybar and there were no problems. You're rear swaybar is probably upside down.

Yup, I have a WS also with an ITR swaybar (which is a WHOLE 1mm thicker! ) and I have no rubbing problems whatsoever. Only if the swaybar were mounted upside-down would the swaybar begin to rub the piping. Usually you only start running into problems when using 3" diameter piping.

Also, the whole WS hanging lower than normal doesn't seem to apply to me.

When you say "redoing the hangers", are you refering to the rubber thingies or the actual hanger bracket?
