so i had to change my head last week and when i pulled the cams out, one of the mechanics that helped me said these werent civic type r cams. however, the person i bought the car off of claimed they were. i DID do research and the ID's did match up. i think this is a civic type r intake cam. but i want to get some feedback just to make sure. thanks.

 

stock b16 camshafts = 0 grooves at the end of the camshaft
ITR cams = 1 groove on ends of cams
CTR cams = 2 grooves on the end

just what I read somewhere, I really just needed that 5th post to move beyond pre-noob
