I have replaced all the ball joints/tie rods in the front end, but I still have play and thunking in the suspension/steering. After doing some careful diagnosis, the noise is coming from the passenger side of the steering rack. I have tightened up the rack guide on the driver's side, and that eliminated the backlash clunk, and reduced the play I felt; but the play was still present.
Is the steering rack serviceable or is it time to replace it? Seems like the cylinder end, #13 could be replaced, as it holds the rack in the housing, but with so much play in the rack, would the piston and seals still be good? It doesn't leak externally, but there could be internal damage that I can't see.

Should I go with a Honda reman rack for 330 + shipping, or an autozone lifetime warranty rack (Atsco brand) for 305?
Are there any quicker ratio racks (maybe from a coupe), or are they all the same ratio?
