I am looking to get another intake to run in the winter, since my ARC setup gets hella dirty and wanna keep it clean, so I wanted a MUGEN airbox, and came across this, an Exact replica but in carbon fiber....Whats the most you would pay SHIPPED for this?

 

IDK, looks kinda ugly.... I would just buy a cheap short ram for the winter if it was me...

Nothing like what you posted. You are SO concerned with a look that you don't even care if it makes power. Seriously, who is going to be able to see it unless you are a hard parker? Just get a K&N conical filter and get a PVC coupler at home depot and put it on then end of a stock induction hose.

The EPRacing one supposedly is rougher on the inside and smoother on the outside than the Mugen intake is, and I am unsure of the TEGIWA.

There is pricing on both of those sites to give you an idea of what you should be paying for them new.

 

I personaly dont like how the tubes look, If they were smooth, it will be a totaly different story.

that does look like a whale peen... idk why get that box does it actually make it more faster and furious'er than having a normal short ram intake??? for thE price of that whale peen does it make your car run 3 seconds faster in 1/4 mile???

i wouldnt even use it if it was given to me lol i like my short ram intake and its good for all types of weather and its a fraction of the price of that ugly box

 

id rather use my stock intake in the winter than that thing lol and save the money..

sure its ugly, but you won't even see 90% of it when it is installed on the car, just the nice shiny CF part. i would not pay $225 for it. maybe like $100.
