Default Solvent resistant cream

Not sure if this is the right section but I've been working at this machine shop and the coolant is starting to irrate the hell out of my skin. At the old shop I worked at we had a solvent resistant cream that worked good but I forgot the name of it. Anyone happen to know any good solvent resistant creams?

Google "liquid glove".There are lots of them.I have used a few samples with good results. Most of the time it's bacteria in the solvent that causes the problem.

do they ever change the coolant in the machines? i used to work at a place that had all there employies break out with in a month and they ended up tracing it down to bacteria in the coolant. the resolved it by changing it and buying a portable coolant cleaning machine to run on the machined once a week and it all went away. they ended up buying one of these www.coolantwizard.com

As far as I know I've never seen anyone empty out all the coolant than refill it. But people do top it off everyday. Like I said before they have these 2 huge machines(dont know what they exactly do) but the guy told me they recycle the coolant. I'll take some pictures of the machine.

there probaly a similar device but you also have need to mantain your coolant reconditoner. they have a UV sterilizer in them to kill bacteria and i bet its burnt out and needs a new bulb if they use it and you are having this problem

Why not just wear a pair of chemical resistant gloves that protect your arm as well. I just picked up a pair from Harbor Freight the other day fro my parts washer and they work great. They were pretty cheap as well. Here is the link for the gloves.

Hope this helps you out.
