Icon6 jdm h22 vtec problems

My JDM H22A's VTEC is not kickin in? it worked at first. VTEC kicks in at 5500rpm, redlines at 8200rpm and then after traveling on the highway, the VTEC just stopped working and it wont go pass 7000rpm? CEL came on, it was reading error code 22 (which means VTEC pressure switch). After unplugging the battery the CEL wont come back on but i know it works. Its still doing the same thing without the CEL working. Wires, Oil, engine was perfect but still no VTEC? could it be a messed up VTEC oil pressure switch? Any help will be great.

Agree with this guy, the thread is right just go get an oil pressure gauge and test the oil pressure coming from vtec pressure switch. Should tell you what you need to know.
