My maint. light just came on today, driving to work. I changed my oil 3 weeks ago. What other reasons would the maint. light come on????

Did you reset your ecu?

 

Not your ECU. There is a little black box with a green connector underneath the driver side kick panel. It is right in front of your right knee under the plastic. You can either push the button down and reset the light, or just unplug since it is useless.

 

That's what that damn thing is for. lol. I've heard you could reset your ecu as well.

 

It automatically comes on every 7500 miles I think... turn your ignition off, reach under the steering column under the dash to the right is a little square, green button, turn your ignition to on position, push in the green button until the maintenance light goes off. Simple as that man. Your CEL light will let you know if there is a problem.

 

The reason the light came on is that whoever changed your oil - you? - forgot to press that button to reset the maintenance interval.
