I got my 89 crx si about 2 months ago and its an on going process...it came with indiglo gauges but i took them out because i dont want anything too noticeable and flashy...i have the stock gauges on now but for some reason my needles arent lit up behind...i cant see them at night time...also, my fuel/temp gauge isnt lighting up...i know theres light there because i took the 4 screws surrounding it and there was light coming out of it...i've changed most of the bulbs in the back and still no luck...anyone have any ideas or suggestions? thanks

 

see if you have the light bar on top of the guage cluster, it has two grey wires that run to a bulb on the back of the cluster. i am dealing with the same thing, just putting in a 91 SI cluster eventually.

This might be stupied but have you tried the dimmer switch. I was changing the bulbs and I could not get them to turn on until 2 days later my arm hit the dimmer switch and bang they came on.

 

yea dimmers on...i mean the other lights work fine, but not the needles and the fuel/temp gauge
