mustang throttle body on civic
what all needs to be done to get a mustang throttle body working on a b18? i'm guessing a new flange being welded on to the intake manifold, anything else? i think the tps is different, how hard would it be to callibrate that tps with crome? i think there's some settings in there but i never had to touch it before. i'm just looking at going with a bigger throttle body with parts that are laying around. any comments and pics would be appreciated.
Heres a manifold I built, comes flanged for 75mm Mustang TB., as someone mentioned, EMS's will adapt to different tps's, or you can get the adapter...can't remember who make the tps adapter flange at the moment, I'll see if I can dig it up.
well i was thinking of just hacking off the flange from a mustang intake manifold and welding it onto my manifold. i was wondering if the iacv will still function and what not because this is a dd. i'm going to look for that adapter, i looked on ebay for a lil before i posted this thread but i didn't find it. anyone have a link? i'll mess with crome a lil bit to figure out the tps. I have a chip burner and do basemaps here and there so i think i'll be able to figure it out.
finally had a chance to get on crome and it looks very easy to calibrate the tps. basically u just enter the voltage for when it's wot and it's closed...simple enough. does anyone know if it will affect the iacv?

is this the adapter u guys were talking about? http://www.andysautosport.com/dodge/...l00125287.html if so,it just looks like a plate that you'd drill your own holes into. if that's the case and it's aluminum maybe i'll just weld that to the intake mani. hmm... has anyone else done this before? i did see the intake mani that sandrail posted but i'm thinking of using this on an existing manifold in the mean time.
