Hey guys, still kinda new to this... I am looking for a few things for my EK & I've looked on sites like password JDM & such for some stuff... but not having a WHOLE lot of luck...

More specifically tho, I'm looking for an armrest delete, any 2000 front end pieces, (I'm from the Louisville area) lower control arms, short shifter, wheels, etc. If you got something you think I could use let me know!! Thanks guys*

 

if your looking to buy, honda marketplace has a wtb[want to buy] section.

secondly, make sure you stay away from ebay parts.

lower control arms, blox racing make reliable, affordable aftermarket lca's. wheels, its all what your into. Drag makes a wide selection of wheels, that sell for quite affordable prices. theyre pretty nice wheels, unless your one who wants to throw down 1.5k+ on a set of used but legit mugens.

password jdm is known to be expensive, only thing i bought from them was a set of tow hooks. wek sos industries [weaksauceparts.com] has a wide selection of aftermarket parts.

Try this place is here in California but they have good prices compare to other shops around the area, I buy 70% of my stuff ffrom them, they even allow me to pick it up my self =P

I just bought blox LCAs from jhpusa.com. It was a good place to buy from, fair prices, shipped quickly, and the shipping fees weren't outrageous. I haven't installed my LCAs yet (waiting on my konis to arrive), but they seem perfectly fine.

Check junk yards for the front end and armrest delete. My DX (every DX) has the "armrest delete." I wouldn't get one though, armrests are nice to have. If we lived near each other I would trade you.

jackass, LOL. my previous owner ghetto sprayed my entire interior, emphasis on the ghetto. chipping, peeling, ugh. a short ram intake made of lowes pvc pipe, held on by a zip tie to the strut bar!

de-ricing is almost a must with most civic buys these days.

Parts i DIDNT wanna have to **** with. o well. thats pretty much the only EXTERIOR thing other than it need paint, wheels, & tint. Thought about cuttin stock springs but since I live in the country it's not on the top of my list. . . (lowered car on railroad tracks = EPIC FAIL. just saying) anyways everything else is mechanical. . . But like just little things.

 

id get a $40 ebay coilover sleeve kit before bothering to cut springs, chopping springs is a total volkswagen thing to do. and thats EBAY junk, haha ;P

i got a skunk2 full coilover set coming, just because i like the threaded strut, able to go lower than the gc sleeves on my rusted out konis. gotta pay to play, i guess. ha.

 

well, as far as your original "check list" question, heres my current list of parts ordered/to be ordered shortly. i spend about a year trying to find a hatchback [that wasnt riced beyond low-budget fixing] and had a motor in/clean title. not too much to ask for, but still, no luck. so im fixing up my 95 coupe before college next year, everything but a swap and boost, thats next summer :D.
